Peter Curtis will perform jazz standards with his trio on Saturday June 27th, 2020, at The Diamond Valley Arts Center, located at 123 N. Harvard St., Hemet, Ca 92543. Peter Curtis trio.  Original jazz and standards by Peter Curtis and his trio. Peter Curtis is a guitarist and composer. He has performed or recorded with notable jazz and blues musicians including Claudia Acuna, James Carter, Freddy Cole, Taj Mahal, Barbra Morrison and James Moody.Peter received his Bachelor of Music degree Magna Cum Laude from the Berklee College of Music, a Masters of Music degree from Yale University, and a Doctor of Music in Classical Guitar Performance and Literature with minor fields in Ethnomusicology and Music History from Indiana University. 

Dr. Curtis is a tenured, Professor of Music at Riverside City College in Riverside, California.

MUSIC AT THE CENTER is a fundraiser for The DVAC and its programs.  Beverages will be available for purchase. Guests have access to the current gallery exhibition as well as the concert.  Doors open at 7:30 pm with the concert beginning at 8:00 pm.
